That looks pretty impressive Yamyam. You should write up a full guide for the "How To" section when you have time. A lot of people might be interested. N3rdy has competition....

OK all here goes, my next project will be fitting this Bi xenon HID lights. I have recently fitted the side LED lights and it's mega bright. A package has arrived today from Hong Kong and i'm at work but hey all in good time. Hope this one works and goes on alright. Don't know how long this will last either coz it will mean new connections for the back of the head light plus new rubber seal covering. But all will be revealed. Photos will also follow suit to those of you who might want to have a go at blinding the person coming towards you he he.

Just take your time with it and do it methodically and you'll have no problems I'm sure. The worst part for me was finding a place to mount the ballast. The rest is just like playing with lego...... Chad.

One word of advise as we're on the subject of high voltage. Whatever you do, DO NOT be tempted to extend the lengths of wire that go from the ballast TO the bulb (these tend to be the very bendy soft ones). The temptation WILL raise it's head when you try and find a place to mount the ballast. These wires are the same as your HT leads on car or bike, this is where there is high voltage. If you tried to extend them it would not be prudent . You can however extend the wires that go from your battery to the ballast as these are normal 12v and aint gonna cause you damage. Chad. P.S. Appologies if I'm teaching you to suck eggs.
