Hi guys and gals!

I'm Alex from London (via Athens - complicated story)... Haven't bought my GSR yet but it should be in my hands beginning of April... On a hunt now for more info which is what brought me to your forum...

Will be my first bike so am immensely excited (and a bit terrified at the same time  Tongue)

At the moment I am going through N3RDY's post about the jerkiness issue, trying to figure what's what so it might take me some time to get through that and post in other areas!

Anyhoo... cya around!

Hi Alex & welcome to the forum - don't let that jerky post worry you - i have not made any such adjustments to mine & can't say i notice it that often in nearly 4 years of ownership.
as its your first bike just take it easy -ride safely

Welcome to the forum Alex.
Good luck with the GSR, I'm sure you'll love it!! As Porky said "take it easy"

Don't worry too much about the jerkiness. Some people consider it to be an issue and some don't. I didn't. Never experienced a problem and I was riding mine back to back with a Bandit 600 for a time aswell. If you do end up with a concern then the N3RDs thread will be of huge value to you

Thanks guys... TBH it's not just the jerkiness of throttle but also the vibrations of the mirror (luckily the sand solution) seems to be a bit more easy for someone who mixes up a spanner and a hammer! Smiley

I did find a bike today (2nd hand 2007 model) and the guy told me that that issue (mirrors) was resolved in the '07 model in contrast to the '06... can't say I believe him until I see the bike itself but it looks like I will be getting that bike come april (or even sooned Grin:D:D:D)
